The 50 Highest Mountains in Europe
Counting the Caucasus as part of Europe, its highest mountains are mostly in that range: 28 of these 50 are Caucasus summits, led by Mount Elbrus (5,642 m). The highest in the Alps, Mont Blanc (4,806 m), is 9th on the list.
Several Caucasus summits sit in border zones that need a permit or are closed; each peak page says what applies. The list covers the peaks in the peaks.fyi catalogue, which includes every major summit of the range.
