Peak Lists

Easy Summits for Families and Beginners

A first summit should be short, safe and rewarding. Every peak here has a walking route graded at most T2 — marked paths without exposure — and many have a lift, a hut or a restaurant on the way.

The 50 summits run from Weissfluh (2,843 m) down to Puy de Dôme (1,465 m), each a day walk of at most five hours up. Times follow the DIN 33466 walking standard without breaks; with children, allow at least half as long again.
