One question. Three very different routes.
Compare Snowdon’s routes for someone who dislikes exposed scrambling. Cite the route evidence and explain what is unknown.
This example uses real responses from the public MCP endpoint, captured on 2026-10-30. Search found Snowdon; get_peak supplied route IDs; get_route_briefs returned the evidence below. The explanatory text is an editorial reading of those responses.
Llanberis Path
T2 · hikeThe longest but most gradual way up Wales's highest mountain: a broad, well-made path from Llanberis village that follows the line of the Snowdon Mountain Railway past the Halfway House café and Clogwyn station to the summit ridge. About 7 km and 975 m of ascent each way; 6–7 hours return.
Timing conflict: Computed round trip 6.94 h differs from published 5.75–5.75 h. No preferred estimate has been verified.
Source updated 2026-10-29. Descent basis: unknown; computed return is only a reverse-ascent estimate.

T2 · hikeThe shortest and quickest way up from the 359 m Pen-y-Pass car park: a rugged, rocky path over Bwlch y Moch and along the flank of Crib Goch above Llyn Llydaw and Glaslyn, then steep zigzags to Bwlch Glas and the summit. About 5.3 km and 725 m of ascent each way; often descended by the Miners' Track.

T5 · scrambleBritain's most famous knife-edge: from Bwlch y Moch on the Pyg Track a Grade 1 scramble up Crib Goch's east ridge, along the exposed crest and pinnacles to Bwlch Coch, then over Crib y Ddysgl and Garnedd Ugain (1,065 m) to the summit. Technically easy but continuously exposed; about 5 km and 865 m of ascent one way.

Read the mountain researchWhat does that change?
Crib Goch’s research explicitly describes continuous exposure and scrambling. That conflicts with this person’s stated preference. Llanberis Path and Pyg Track are useful alternatives to investigate, with different terrain and timing evidence. A hiking grade does not mean no exposure or establish suitability in current conditions.
The next conversation should establish the trip date, experience, current conditions, and transport arrangements. Timing conflicts remain visible; estimated descents are not verified return-time guarantees.
